Radio Halton, together with Radio General were delighted to be invited to provide an Outside Broadcast at Macmillan Delamere Cancer Centre’s 10th birthday celebration on Thursday 21 September 2023. Presenters Deborah, Derek, John and Stephen from Radio Halton, together with Keith from Radio General attended and provided the music and interviewed Simon Constable, CEO of WHH and Kate from the Centre. Entertainment was also provided by the WHH Choir. The event was a resounding success, being attended by NHS staff, volunteers and staff from the Centre and many patients, past and present also popped in for a chat and a cake.
